Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified District: Four Honored by County for Multilingual Education Work

Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified District: Daniela Cupples Named State Classified Employee of the Year

Daniela Cupples, a computer resource assistant in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District, was named one of six recipients for the state's Classified Employee of the Year, the California Department of Education announced today.

Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified District: Wildwood Elementary School Earns CA Distinguished School Award

The CA Distinguished Schools Ceremony was held on Friday, May 4, at the Ontario Convention Center. Wildwood Elementary School was one of 17 schools in San Bernardino County to be honored as a California Distinguished School. Only 387 schools out of 6,000 elementary schools in the state were awarded this honor this year. This is the first time that Wildwood Elementary School has been awarded (Continued...)

Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified District: YHS Students Compete at World Robotics Championships in St. Louis, Missouri

Daniela Cupples and Jimmy Nieto were each selected at 2012 Classified School Employees of the Year for San Bernardino County.

Every student will increase by 10% or, if proficient, by 10 points each year on the STAR English/Language Arts and Mathematics tests.

Every English learner will move up one CELDT Proficiency Level each year until reclassification.

In order to ensure that students continue to receive a high-quality 21st-century education, the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District (YCJUSD) Board of Education is considering placing a bond measure on the November ballot to support facility improvements at local schools.
